The 2010-2011 ArtsCanisius season begins Friday, September 10 at 5 p.m. with an art reception in the Andrew L. Bouwhuis Library featuring the work of Rev. Michael Flecky, S.J. Also, the first Meet-the-Faculty recital is Sunday, September 12 at 3 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center and includes performances by faculty members, Anna Mattix, oboe; Ellen Barnum, bassoon; Jane Cary, piano; Melissa Thorburn, mezzo-soprano; Karen Schmid, piano; Bryan Eckenrode, cello and Michael Colquhoun, flute. Both events are free and open to the public.
