Feedback Needed On Ignatian Scholarship Day 2010

The Ignatian Scholarship Day Committee would like to offer thanks to all who supported and attended Ignatian Scholarship Day (ISD) 2010.  From all accounts, it appears to have been a very successful day which would not have been possible without the cooperation of so many individuals on campus.

The ISD committee would like feedback about the day: what worked, what you liked, what could be improved.  Please click here to fill out a brief survey about ISD.

For your advance planning, ISD 2011 will take place on April 15, 2011.

Strike Out Cancer Event Scheduled

The Canisius College softball and baseball teams are combining efforts to “Strike Out Cancer” next week.  The softball team hosts Syracuse in a doubleheader on Tuesday, May 4 beginning at 3 p.m. and the baseball team battles Niagara is a single contest on Wednesday, May 5 at 3 p.m.  All games will be played at the Demske Sports Complex.

Both teams will wear pink hats, and to contribute to the efforts, Canisius College fans, boosters, faculty, staff, administrators and students have two options – donate a set dollar amount or make a pledge based on the number of strikeouts recorded on either or both days.

For softball, it will be the total number of strikeouts thrown by Canisius in both games of the Syracuse twin bill.  For baseball it will be the number of strikeouts registered by both Niagara and Canisius (Niagara’s fans are also contributing to the event).

To donate, go to www.gogriffs.com and click on either the baseball or softball sites.  Once there, click on the YRoswell link to either make your donation or pledge.  If you choose not to donate on-line, a pledge card can be sent to your office by calling Ext. 2977.
