Commencement Help Needed

Canisius commencement ceremonies will be held Wednesday, May 19 and Saturday, May 22.  Volunteers are needed to help with both ceremonies and, as in past years, will receive paid time off for their service.

Marshals help the students properly dress in their academic regalia, lead their row of graduates into the ceremony, and pass out diplomas to the graduates after they have walked across the stage.  Marshaling duties will be discussed in detail at a meeting the Monday before commencement.

For more information, to sign up as a marshal or to volunteer in any other way, contact Pat Brawn or Judy Bruce in the Office of Student Affairs at Ext. 2130.
