The Eighth Annual Human Rights Conference continues tonight (April 20) and tomorrow (April 21) at 7 p.m. in the Grupp Fireside Lounge.  Faculty and staff, as well as students and the public, are invited to attend.

Tonight (April 20), humanitarian aid worker Carl Wilkens (pictured, right) will speak about his experiences as a witness to the Rwandan genocide of 1994.  His stories about people helping to protect each other in the face of horrific violence have inspired many audiences around the world.

Tomorrow (April 21), several students will give brief presentations on a variety of subjects.

The Eighth Annual Human Rights Conference is co-sponsored by the International Affairs Society and the Canisius College chapter of Amnesty International.  Please join us for part or all of the proceedings.
