Students and Counseling Center staff participate in the Out of the Darkness Walk in Delaware Park, to promote Suicide Prevention
Counseling Center staff are available to conduct QPR Suicide Prevention Training for the Canisius College community. If you would like your class, department or student group to learn how to prevent suicide, contact the Counseling Center at Ext. 2620 to schedule a training.
All members of the Canisius College community are encouraged to participate in this 90-minute suicide prevention training program. QPR is the CPR for suicide prevention. QPR stands for Question… the student about suicide, Persuade…the student to get help, and Refer…the student for help.
