Buffalo News Reporter David Robinson interviewed Julie Anna Golebiewski for a November 17 story titled “Why This Sluggish Rebound in Hiring Isn’t as Painful for the Buffalo Niagara Region.” The associate professor of economics/finance weighed in on how companies are unable to fill their open jobs and, as a result, compensating by having employees put in longer hours increasing paychecks.
Just a friendly reminder that due to the Thanksgiving holiday, The Dome will not publish this Friday, November 24 or Monday, November 27. The employee E-letter will resume its regular schedule on Wednesday, November 29. All submissions must be received by 2:00 p.m. on the day prior to publication.
