Vice President for Academic Affairs Sara Morris, PhD, is quoted in the November 1 edition of The Washington Post, for a story titled “Dozens of Bird Names Honoring Enslavers and Racists Will Be Changed.” Morris is president-elect of the American Ornithological Society, which plans to alter the names of North American birds named after humans. The Best Schools ranked Canisius University No. 10 on its list of Best Online Master’s Degrees in Sport Management. Programs were ranked based on quality, curricula, school awards, rankings and reputation.
The Master’s in Sport Administration (MSA) at Canisius blends theory and practice providing hands-on experience in an NCAA D1 program, with access to assistantships, coaching, operations and facility management opportunities.
