We now have a Lightboard Studio on campus  and COLI is looking for volunteers in preparation for general use. The Lightboard Studio allows for efficient lecture recording for faculty who teach primarily using a chalkboard or whiteboard. Here is a quick demonstration of how you can teach in recordings using the LightBoard. You can view other examples of lightboard video here and here.

In D2L, your students can sync the D2L Calendar with a personal calendar application, such as Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, and see events, due dates and tasks.

Note that only instructors can create events and due dates. Additionally, the personal calendar may take 24+ hours to update from the D2L calendar.
