Campus Candid

Flamenco Vivo, a traditional dance ensemble based out of New York City, performed on Thursday, April 11 in the Montante Cultural Center. The audience learned about various aspects of flamenco dancing, singing and guitar playing.

The event was sponsored by the Fine Arts Department, the Modern Languages Department and ArtsCanisius, and was supported by grants from the New York State DanceForce and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Canisius in the News

WBEN-AM Radio interviewed Canisius President John J. Hurley about the formation of a joint implementation team between the Movement to Restore Trust (MRT) and the Buffalo Catholic Diocese. The purpose of the team will be to prioritize and implement the MRT’s recommendations for reform. Click here to read the full story.

Holy Thursday Early Dismissal

In order to allow members of the community to prepare for Easter, the college will dismiss at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, Holy Thursday, April 18. All but essential operating personnel are included in this early dismissal tomorrow. Please note that the college will be closed for Good Friday on Friday, April 19. I wish you a very Happy Easter!
