KAC Hours – Easter Break

The Koessler Athletic Center will be adjusting the hours of operation during Easter break:

Tuesday, April 16: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 17: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 18: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Friday, April 19: CLOSED

Saturday, April 20: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 21: CLOSED

Note: No open swim hours from Wednesday, April 17 – Sunday, April 21

Baseball Hosts St. Peter’s

The Canisius men’s baseball team will host St. Peter’s on Friday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. Click here to add this event to your calendar. The Griffs will take on the Peacocks again on Saturday, April 20 beginning at 12:00 p.m. Click here to add this event to your calendar.

This is the Griffs second to last home Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference series. Canisius is in a virtual four-way tie for first place in the conference at the halfway point of the league schedule.

With inclement weather moving into the area on Friday, be sure to check www.GoGriffs.com for any schedule changes. If Friday’s game cannot be played, it will be made up on Sunday, April 21.

Griff Gear Sale

The annual spring Griff Gear Sale will take place on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25 in the Koessler Center lobby. The store will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. both days.  Merchandise will be discounted at 10 – 40 percent depending on the item. For additional information, visit www.GoGriffs.com.

Dyngus Day Buffalocal!

Join Chartwells for a special Dyngus Day edition of Buffalocal on Monday, April 22 in the dining hall. A Polish platter featuring Ru’s Pierogi, Wardynski Polish sausage and Weber’s mustard and sauerkraut will be available.

Makerspace Event

Join the Art History Department on Wednesday, April 24 in the library to paint rocks that will be donated to the Canisius College Community Garden. The supplies for this Makerspace event have been provided through the generous support of Taheri and Todoro PC.

The workspace will be set up near the circulation desk from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (or until the rocks run out). All are welcome to donate clean rocks to the project. This event is free and open to students, faculty and staff.
