United Way Cookies

The United Way Committee would like to thank the Canisius community for contributions to the United Way Campaign that currently total $19,400. We would like to remind those that intend to give, but haven’t done so as of yet, the campaign will end Monday, November 30.

You will notice at registers throughout campus the United Way sign and logo beginning November 16th and running through November 24th. Canisius is offering two additional options to participate in the United Way Campaign and demonstrate to the community that we are truly men and women for others.

Canisius is selling United Way cookies for one dollar with all proceeds going to the campaign at the following locations: Economou Dining Hall, Science Hall Café and in the 2.MATO bakery case. The cookies will be a sweet way to continue to show your support for the Canisius College/United Way Campaign. Please stop by one of the locations and treat yourself and your friends to a delicious cookie. The second initiative will give you the option of adding money to your purchase and will be offered at all registers throughout the campus. The add-on option will be offered in $0.50, $1 or $2 increments during your time of purchase.

All monies collected for the campaign will directly contribute to the health and well-being of individuals and families who live here in Erie County. Your contribution will be invested in local programs to ensure that children and youth reach their full potential; families attain financial stability and independence; and people of all ages are healthy and safe.

Thank you for your consideration and support!
