Read Important Information Regarding Commencement Week

To reserve your spot at both Commencement exercises, the Spring Honors Convocation and the Baccalaureate Mass please fill out this brief form.

The form must be completed by Tuesday, May 12. It is very important that you reserve your spot to ensure you have a seat at the ceremonies.

The schedule for the Spring Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate Mass, Commencement exercises and related activities are listed on the Academic Affairs portal page.

All faculty members are expected and encouraged to attend the ceremonies pertaining to the level at which they teach, since students look forward to having their mentors join them in celebration of their academic accomplishments.

Family Pictures
Employees of the college receiving a degree or who has a spouse or child receiving a degree is welcome to have a complimentary family photograph taken immediately following the graduate and undergraduate ceremonies. To make arrangements, click here.

Canisius to Host Athletic Performance Enhancement Camp

Youth and collegiate-level athletes (ages 10 and up) can enhance their athletic performance in any sport by participating in a summer Athletic Performance Camp at Canisius from June 22 – August 14. Chuck Pelitera, EdD, assistant professor of kinesiology and Warren Paschetto MS ’14, will lead participants through a series of exercises designed to increase strength, speed, balance, power and agility.

Pelitera is also owner of Pelitera’s Fitness Consultants and coordinator of the college’s health and wellness program. He is a certified personal trainer with distinction through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA.

Paschetto is a personal trainer/fitness consultant at Pelitera’s Fitness Consultants. He holds a master’s degree in health and human performance from Canisius. Paschetto is a certified personal trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA.

The camp will run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Koessler Athletic Center. The cost is $350 per athlete or $300 per athlete if registered by June 1. To register or for more information, contact Pelitera at (716) 888-8469 or pelitera@canisius.edu.
