Seven candidates in the Teacher Education Program are enjoying an exciting professional and personal adventure in Oviedo, Spain. For three weeks, the students are international education interns working as English as a second language (ESL) teachers at Colegio de San Ignacio (CSI), a preK-12 Jesuit school.

By day, the students collaborate with the outstanding faculty of the CSI English Department to develop and teach ESL lessons in language, science, art and physical education. By night, they are hosted by wonderful families who immerse them in the amazing culture of this beautiful Spanish medieval town.
