Come hear Canisius College students perform this weekend in their end of semester concerts. All performances are in the Montante Cultural Center at 7:30 p.m. each day, and are free and open to the public.
On Friday (December 2), the Concert Band, directed by Paul D. Biddle, and Jazz Ensemble, directed by Dave Schiavone, perform works by Frank Ticheli, Jack Stamp, George Gershwin, John Coltrane and others.
The Canisius College Chorale, directed by Frank Scinta, performs works of Handel and Hogan on Saturday (December 3). Sunday (December 4) features the Chamber Orchestra, directed by Ansgarius Aylward, in a program of works by Bach, Britten, Copland, Dvorak, Handel and Piazzolla.
