ArtsCanisius presents the first Informally-Formal Chamber Recital of the year tonight (November 8) at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.  BPO violinists Andrea Cone and Amy Licata as well as former BPO cellist Eva Herer are the featured musicians for this event; however, Cone will play a viola in this performance.  The recital includes Mozart’s Divertimento K. 563 for String Trio, one of the first works written for this instrumental combination, as well as Martinu’s Three Madrigals for violin and viola which was written in the 1930s but looks back to the musical style of the Baroque Era.

Tickets are $15 general admission – $7 students and can be purchased online here, in the fine arts office or at the door.
