Mark C. Johnson, the executive director of the Fellowship of Reconciliation / USA will be on campus for two events that are open to the campus community.
On Monday (April 4) from 2:30 – 4 p.m. in Old Main Room 311, Johnson will lead a discussion about faith, peace, and military involvement with Lieutenant Colonel Paul Baker, professor of military science. On Tuesday (April 5) from noon – 1 p.m., he will be available to meet with members of the campus community over lunch in the Library Conference Room – lunch is provided. Johnson will also speak off-campus at Network of Religious Communities, 1272 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo on Monday (April 4) at 7:30 p.m. He will lead a presentation and discussion on “From Fear to Friendship: Laying the American Mosaic with the Muslim Community.” The presentation will touch/center on experiences, methods and approaches for religious communities struggling with “Islamophobia.” For more information, click here.
