Baseball Team To MAAC Playoffs

For the fifth consecutive year, the Golden Griffin baseball team will compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference playoffs.  Coach Mike McRae’s team earned the fourth and final spot when they swept a doubleheader from Niagara last Thursday.

Canisius will meet top-seeded Manhattan at 3 p.m. on Thursday (May 26) in Waterfront Park in Trenton, NJ.  Follow all of the action, pitch by pitch, at www.maacsports.com.  For more information on the Griffs attempt to earn a bid to the NCAA Tourney, check out www.gogriffs.com.

Alumni Quad Party June 4

The biggest Alumni party of the year is just around the corner, and the Office of Alumni Relations invites Canisius faculty and staff to join in the festivities.

The Alumni Quad Party will be held Saturday, June 4 from 7 – 11 p.m. in the main Quadrangle.  The regular price is $35 per person but we are offering faculty and staff a discounted rate of $30 until May 27.  The price at the door is $40 per person.  Enjoy great food, drinks and live music with Buffalo cover band “The Urban Renewal Band.”

Summer Hours Start Monday (May 23)

Summer office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour for lunch, will be in effect from Monday, May 23 through Friday, August 19.  Adjustments in hours may be made where workloads require different operating hours.
