Two of the top baseball teams in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference will clash at the Demske Sports Complex this weekend as the Golden Griffins play host to the Red Foxes of Marist.
Saturday’s (April 2) doubleheader is slated to commence at Noon, while Sunday’s (April 3) single game will begin at 2 p.m. Check out www.gogriffs.com over the weekend for any weather related changes and to get real time information via live stats.
Canisius has won five straight and six of its last seven to improve to 11-14 overall and 3-0 in conference play. Marist is 2-1 in the league and 17-5 on the season. Both teams have posted impressive wins on the season with Canisius owning victories over Creighton, Maryland and West Virginia, while the Red Foxes have toppled Richmond, George Washington, UNC Wilmington and West Virginia.
