In attendance for the presentation were (left to right) E. Rosica Family Foundation; Rev. Vincent M. Cooke, S.J., president of Canisius; and John J. Hurley, executive vice president and vice president for college relations.

A check presentation was held yesterday (May 11) where Canisius College President Rev. Vincent M. Cooke, S.J., announced that the S.J. Rosica Family Foundation has committed $825,000 to A Legacy of Leadership: The Campaign for Canisius College. The gift will expand the Sebastian J. ’48 and Lenore M. Rosica Endowment, which was established by Sebastian and Lenore Rosica during their lifetimes to support the college’s Urban Leadership Learning Community Program with scholarships and other resources. The gift of the foundation brings the value of that fund to $930,000.
