Summer 2010 Online Course Development Workshop

For those looking to teach online in the fall, there are upcoming Summer sessions of the Online Course Development Workshop that are highly recommended.  The introductory meeting will be May 27 at 3:30 p.m. with additional sessions scheduled in June and July.  For more information and to register, click here (Adobe Acrobat PDF).

The Online Course Development Workshop was created to guide instructors and staff through the on-line course creation process.  It is highly encouraged that instructors attend if they intend to teach online.

Baseball Hosts Niagara

Sean Jamieson had 8 RBI in Sunday’s win over Fairfield

The Golden Griffin baseball team heads into the homestretch of its schedule with a single game against Niagara tomorrow (May 5) at the Demske Sports Complex.  First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.  The game will not count towards the MAAC standings, as the two teams have a three game series scheduled for May 20-21 at Niagara.

The contest will be the second on campus this week for the Strike Out Cancer Campaign.  Both teams will don pink hats with their respective logos on the front and the YRoswell brand on the back.  Fans can make either a donation or a pledge by clicking on baseball or softball at the www.gogriffs.com website.  Pledges are for the number of strikeouts by both teams in the game.  Pledges and donations will also be accepted at the game.
