All are invited to attend the Final Cut Server/Podcast Producer Roadshow on Wednesday, May 19 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Lyons Hall Room 311.  The seminar is presented by Bob Trikakis and Rick Bettencourt from Apple Inc.

The seminar will focus on Final Cut Server and Podcast Producer.  While it is depicted as a journalism roadshow, that is only a backdrop to show both of these technologies and how you can bring your department or classroom into the latest educational digital revolution.

Final Cut Server frees up time for creative work with new features that make it exceptionally flexible and easy to use.  It can manage thousands of assets, execute dozens of routine tasks, and keep everyone in sync, all while you continue to work.

Podcast Producer 2 is a complete, end-to-end solution to encode, publish, and distribute high-quality podcasts.  It is ideal to:

  • Train, show university lectures, presentations, and more.
  • Share critical content with students and colleagues or to highlight your department.
  • Automatically brand podcasts and add customized intros for any particular class.
  • Develop workflows for specific tasks and/or people who use it which makes it as easy as Apple’s point and click can be.
  • Create easy to use workflows.
  • Distribute using iTunes U, a blog, a wiki or the university’s public website.

Podcast Producer 2 offers more options to capture, create, and publish podcasts to make it easier than ever to collaborate.
