The Women’s Business Center (WBC) partnered with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) WNY and contracted Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team members, Tara Jabbaar-Gyambrah, PhD, and John Davis, to create a 6-week class. These classes will foster creative problem-solving, networking and partnership.
The Building Allyship program seeks to pair 50 women-of-color entrepreneurs with 50 decision makers/influencers. Applications open today and will close on May 21, 2001. Interested participants can learn more about the program and apply by clicking here.
The goal is to help women-of-color entrepreneurs to level up their businesses while helping to diversify business opportunities and lead to more inclusive work. This program will build action items that will be geared towards supporting greater social capital in the short term for the participating women-of-color entrepreneurs working towards greater financing or contract opportunities.
