Hear Cantio Sacra perform

Top Two Teams in Atlantic Hockey Meet This Weekend
Watch Griffs battle Niagara
This weekend’s two-game Battle of the Bridge series, featuring your Canisius Golden Griffins against Niagara, is setting up to be the clash of the Atlantic Hockey season as the two rivals meet with first place on the line. Games are scheduled for Friday night, December 8 at 7 p.m. at Niagara and Saturday, December 9 at 4:35 p.m. at HARBORCENTER. The Purple Eagles lead Atlantic Hockey with 17 points, while your Griffs sit in second with 16 points. Niagara has a game in hand.
Tickets for the game at HARBORCENTER are available in advance by calling 716-888-TIXX. Saturday afternoon’s game will be the final appearance by the Griffs at HARBORCENTER until January 12-13 when AIC visits.
It’s Hockey Jersey Night with fans encouraged to wear their favorite team’s hockey jersey.

50th Annual German Christmas Mass
Offered in memory of Peter Boehm, PhD
Canisius will host its 50th Annual German Christmas Mass in Christ the King Chapel on Sunday, December 10 at 10:00 a.m. The German American Musicians will perform a concert of German Christmas music before Mass at 9:30 a.m. The public is welcome. An Advent breakfast reception will be held in the Grupp Fireside Lounge and Regis Room following Mass, at approximately 11:00 a.m.
This year’s Mass will offered for the late Peter Boehm, PhD, professor of German at Canisius, who organized the Mass for many years.
Rev. Daniel P. Jamros, SJ, professor of religious studies and theology, will be the principal celebrant for the Mass, which will be spoken entirely in German.
