Canisius Magazine Hits Mailboxes

The latest issue of Canisius Magazine began hitting mailboxes over the weekend.

Featured on the cover of the fall 2017 publication, “Family Ties,” a story about the grand collection of legacy families who have seen the tradition of a Canisius education passed down from one generation to the next.  (Special mention goes to Art Director Cody Weiler who designed the illustration featured on the cover of Canisius Magazine.)

Also included in this issue, “A View from the Border.”  Canisius students share their perspectives following a trip to the border city of Nogales, where they witnessed the realities of immigration.  Alumnus Damon Young ’02 (English) is profiled about co-founding what is now a nationally recognized daily digital magazine that uses commentary, essay and yes, the occasional obscenity to probe black experiences in pop culture.  Mary Roberts ’77 (accounting) talks about overseeing one of Buffalo’s greatest architectural assets: The Martin House.  This latest issue also includes the 2016-17 Annual Report of Donors.
