Canisius alumna Annie Draves ’18 was recently recognized as one of Project Play WNY 2023 Coaches Honor Roll Award honorees!
Draves graduated from the physical education program and now shares her expertise in adaptive learning paired with a passion for swimming, which is making a huge impact at the Buffalo Area Aquatic Club – BAAC.
From leading the Waves and Tsunamis program at the BAAC to developing new ways to make swimming accessible to those with hearing and visual disabilities, Draves’ dedication and determination is seen in her work. Congratulations, Annie!
