Women’s Basketball Returns Home Tonight

The Canisius women’s basketball team returns home tonight, Wednesday, November 30, as the Golden Griffins play host to UAlbany in non-conference action at the Koessler Athletic Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The Griffs are led by junior guard Dani Haskell, who ranks third in the MAAC with her 16.6 points per game scoring average. As a team, the Blue and Gold are good for 5.8 3-point field goals per game, which ranks fourth-best in the league.

Our favorite hometown football team kicks off against the New England Patriots at 8:15 p.m. tomorrow, for Thursday Night Football. To show our team spirit, the campus community is encouraged to wear its best Buffalo Bills gear on game day.

A Very Special Chamber Orchestra Concert

Please join ArtsCanisius, Ansgarius Aylward, director of the Canisius College Chamber Orchestra, and members of the Chamber Orchestra as they dedicate two pieces by Bach to the memory of Damita (“Kimi”) Scrivani on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.

Kimi was a member of the Class of 2023 and majored in management and entrepreneurship. She was a member of the Chamber Orchestra since 2019 and Alpha Kappa Psi.  Kimi was also very active in the FUSION Gaming Society, Anime Club, LASAF, Unity, ENACTUS, ALANA Student Center, Canisius Entrepreneurs Organization, Mixed Martial Arts Club and Project Conservation.

PBJ Sandwich Service Project

The Human Resources Office and President’s Office, in partnership with the United Way, invite faculty and staff to serve together on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge in Old Main.  Participants will make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Buffalo City Mission to distribute to families in need. Click here to sign up!
