U.S. News & World Report’s latest rankings of America’s Best Colleges place Canisius in the top tier of regional universities in the North. The 2023 list puts Canisius at No. 22 among nearly 200 regional colleges and universities in the North. Canisius’ ranking was based on student success, first-year student retention rates, graduation rates, student-faculty ratio, faculty resources and its alumni giving rate. Now in its 38th year, U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of America’s Best Colleges evaluate more than 1,450 colleges and universities on up to 17 measures of academic quality.
In addition to its “Best College” recognition, Canisius came in at No. 8, among regional colleges and universities in the North, on the U.S. News list of “Best Value Schools.” Canisius scored similarly high marks on U.S. News & World Report’s list of “Best Undergraduate Teaching” and “Best Colleges for Veterans.” Click here to read more about the rankings.
