Jane’s Walk is named in honor of Jane Jacobs, the pioneering writer, activist and urbanist who championed the voices of everyday people in neighborhood planning and city building.
The walks take a community-based approach to city building using volunteer led tours to make space for people to observe, reflect, share, question and re-imagine the places in which they live, work and play.
Mary Rockwell, PhD, will lead a walk of Hamlin Park on Saturday, May 8 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The walk will begin at 60 Hedley Place. The walk is free and all are welcome!
