The Canisius College Pre-Medical Center partnered with the Erie Niagara Health Education Center to host a week-long Health Professions Summer Camp for middle school children. This is an effort to encourage Buffalo kids to persist in science and math during high school and beyond. Canisius faculty and several alumni in health professions helped introduce the kids to what it would be like to work as a physician assistant or in the fields of pharmacy, dentistry, neuroscience, animal behavior and more.
