The Griff Center began to use the Handshake application this year to help federal work study eligible students find the best placements. The Griff Center is working very hard to make the federal work study hiring process streamlined and give more control to students over the hiring process.
To make that happen, the Griff Center is working to provide a MANDATORY training for all federal work study and Griffin employment supervisors. Sydnie Perkins, on-campus recruitment counselor for the Griff Center for Academic Engagement and Handshake specialist, will be showing students how to manage job descriptions, gather applications electronically and a variety of other helpful hacks.
Register in Handshake for one of the upcoming training sessions listed above. The sessions will last approximately 30 – 45 minutes and will provide hands-on training to make the lives of students a bit easier!
