On Wednesday, March 13 President Hurley, along with 16 additional faculty and staff including Peter Schaber, PhD, interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Denise Rotondo, dean of the Richard J. Wehle School of Business and Jeffrey Lindauer, PhD, dean of the School of Education and Human Services, visited M&T Bank for “Conversations with the President.”

The event began with a presentation by M&T for President Hurley and the Canisius faculty and staff. M&T employees, including Mike Todaro, executive vice president and Canisus College Board of Trustees member, spoke about the qualities for potential employees during the recruitment process. The presentation was followed by a tour of the historic branch. More than 100 Canisius alumni employed at M&T heard from Denise Rotondo, dean of the Richard J. Wehle School of Business, and President Hurley as they provided updates on the Wehle School of Business and Canisius College. The program wrapped up with a cocktail reception.

Help Desk Hours – Spring Break

Beginning today, Monday, March 18, the ITS Help Desk will be open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. These hours will be in effect through Friday, March 22.

Using Data Analytics in the Food Industry

Nick Corcoran, director of application development at Rich Products, will discuss how data analytics is used in the food industry in a presentation entitled “Using Analytics to Drive Success in the Food Manufacturing Industry.” The event will take place on Wednesday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. in Science Hall 1028.

Corcoran will examine the types of analytics used at Rich Products and keys to success when engaging end users. The presentation will show real world examples of how data and analytics are used to drive labor efficiencies, production output, and sales engagement.

Griff Fair 2019

The Griff Center’s annual job and internship fair will take place on Thursday, March 28 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. in Science Hall. Students may register for the Griff Fair on Handshake.
