Adjunct Faculty Orientation: September 7

new-adjunct-orientation

The Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) is hosting an adjunct faculty orientation session on Thursday September 7 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

This session is not mandatory but is a great way to quickly get up to speed on the essentials for teaching at Canisius College.  Adjunct faculty who are teaching at Canisius for the first time this fall can obviously benefit but adjunct instructors who have taught at Canisius in the past are also welcome.  It’s a good opportunity to learn about resources and support available to you at Canisius!

See the Center for Online Learning & Innovation blog here for details.

Please RSVP to Kathy Peter at peter@canisius.edu or at 888-2121 so we have an estimate of the number of people attending.

Monday’s spectacular solar eclipse captivated the campus community.

Pictured above, Kristen M. Covino, PhD, of the Biology Department, took students in her BIO Boot Camp to watch the moon pass before the sun.

Pictured below, Creative Services Director Patty Herkey drew the attention of an Admissions tour group outside Lyons Hall with a pinhole projector she created to safely watch the solar eclipse.
