Canisius in the News

Domenic Romanello ᾿19, a junior animal behavior, ecology, and conservation (ABEC) and anthropology dual major, is participating in a unique research project that involves two of the world’s least studied non-human primates: the iconic big-eyed bushbabies, also known as galagos.

The study, led by a team from The University of Colorado at Boulder, compares the smaller galago, which is the size of a human hand, to the larger thick-tailed galago, which is cat-sized. Researchers want to better understand how body size may affect their ability to deal with challenging temperature environment.

Read more about the primate research project in an article on Health Medicine Network’s website here.
