Summer hours will end on Friday, August 18. Starting Monday, August 21 all college departments will resume regular working hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with a one-hour lunch break.
Fall classes begin on Monday, August 28.

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 17, Canisius ITS is performing an upgrade to our wiki system, Confluence. A growing number of offices, departments and committees use Confluence to easily post and maintain information on the web. The wiki and its various pages may be unavailable for several hours on Thursday and Friday while this is performed.
For users, the upgraded wiki will look and work much the same as it does now but collaboration on wiki pages will be improved. Please e-mail the Helpdesk (helpdesk@canisius.edu) with questions or concerns.

The Center for Online Learning & Innovation is hosting two adjunct faculty orientation sessions on Thursday August 24 and Thursday September 7 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. On August 24, attendees can arrive early at 4:00 p.m. to participate in a guided tour of Bouwhuis Library.
These sessions are not mandatory but are a fantastic way to quickly get up to speed on the essentials for teaching at Canisius College. Adjunct faculty who are teaching at Canisius for the first time this fall can obviously benefit but adjunct instructors who have taught at Canisius in the past are also welcome. It’s a good opportunity to learn about resources and support available to you at Canisius!

The Office of Enrollment Management will again host Canisius College training. The department is currently in the process of reaching out to academic and non-academic departments to schedule 30- minute presentations highlighting updates and key points of interest.
In the past, these training sessions were very beneficial for student recruitment, athletic recruitment, institutional advancement, and provide general campus knowledge. Below are the dates, times and locations of the training during the first two weeks of the semester. Please feel free to share with your staff and encourage them to attend to expand their knowledge of our programs.
