Elias Ayoub ’17, president of the Undergraduate Student Association (USA), was among a group of Canisius students who traveled to Albany yesterday to participate in New York Student Aid Alliance Advocacy Day. The Canisius contingent asked legislators to continue their support of all New York college students by increasing funding for TAP and opportunity programs.
While in Albany, Ayoub was interviewed by WCNY, Central New York public radio, about the importance of increased TAP support. Ayoub shared his Canisius experience and stressed the importance of choice when choosing where to attend college.
