A delegation of students from Canisius College is in Albany today for New York Student Aid Alliance Advocacy Day.
This lobby day is especially important this year for Canisius students due to Governor Cuomo’s proposed legislation that would make tuition free at SUNY and CUNY schools. The Canisius contingent is asking legislators to continue their support of all New York college students by increasing funding for TAP and opportunity programs.
Jeffrey Spencer ’17 and Neil Savoy ’15, MS ’18 were interviewed by local media before heading to Albany.
