The Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2017 MLK awards. This honor recognizes Canisius community members, student and non-student, who demonstrate qualities promoting social justice, racial harmony, civil rights, advocacy for the poor, or change through non-violence.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 10, 2017.
Nominations are accepted from faculty, staff and current students of Canisius College. Please make a nomination here. MLK Awards will be presented at the Spring Honors Convocation.
