eric gansworthEric Gansworth, professor of English and Lowery Writer-in-Residence at Canisius College, will participate in a reading and discussion at The Library of Congress Poetry and Literature Center in Washington, D.C., Tuesday, May 10 at 4:00 p.m.

The event, entitled “Spotlight on Native Writers,” features Native American fiction writers Linda LeGarde Grover and Stephen Graham Jones, in a reading and discussion moderated by award-winning Native American writer Deborah Miranda. The reading/discussion precedes the launch of Louise Erdrich’s 15th novel, LaRose. Erdrich is the recipient of the 2015 Library of Congress Prize in American Fiction.

Gansworth, a writer and visual artist, is an enrolled member of the Onondaga Nation. He was born and raised on the Tuscarora Reservation in Niagara County, NY.
