The Mothers Club has been providing micro-credit loans to rural Haitian and African people, primarily women, since 1991. A non-profit charity, Mothers Clubs has made loans to over 5,000 members.

Katherine Mang-Haag will give a talk at Canisius on Tuesday, October 29 in Horan O’Donnell, Room 107, at 4 p.m. Join us for an informative and interesting afternoon to learn more about the important work being done by the Mothers Clubs of Haiti and Tanzania. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

This event is sponsored by the Women and Gender Studies Program and co-sponsored by the English Department, The Center for Community Based-Learning and the Women and Gender Studies Club. It is free and open to the public.
