ALANA Student Center and Chartwells Dining Services present a Fireart Workshop.
Woodland Visions Native Arts invites you to an interactive fireart demonstration. This demonstration, part of the Soup with Substance Series.
The event, which is free and open to the campus community, will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. in the Steffan Faculty Dining Room next to the Economou Dining Hall student cafeteria in the Student Center. This is in observance of Native American Heritage Month in November. Chartwells will provide free soup and a beverage.
Participants in the workshop (students, faculty and staff) will have the opportunity to use wood burning tools to create art on slabs of wood while learning aspects of Native American cultures. They may keep their creations.
Visit anytime for approximately 20 minutes to make your art!
