Michael J. Pardales, PhD announced that the college has partnered with the College Student Personnel Association of New York State (CSPA-NYS) to publish a peer-reviewed academic journal, The CSPA-NYS Journal of Student Affairs.
The online journal addresses contemporary issues relevant to higher education and the practice of student affairs through research and other forms of scholarship. Two issues of the journal will be published annually. The journal appeared in print, published by CSPA-NYS and Buffalo State College, in the 1980s and 1990s.
The first issue of the new journal published in May. It is styled volume 11, number 1 and can be found at www.canisius.edu/cspa.
