Faculty and staff are invited to join Campus Ministry and the Buffalo Burrito Project on Tuesday, June 28 and Tuesday, July 26.
The Buffalo Burrito Project provides fresh, home-made burritos to Buffalo’s poor and homeless population in downtown Buffalo. The group walks a four-mile route and serves between 80-120 burritos (a support vehicle follows the street team as they walk). Campus Ministry has committed to cover two Tuesday evenings with faculty/staff this summer, and needs help to prepare burritos and walk the route in downtown Buffalo. This past academic year, Canisius students engaged weekly in the Buffalo Burrito Project.
