Hoops season is almost here and you can get a glimpse of this year’s Golden Griffin men’s basketball team this Sunday afternoon. It’s a “bye” week in the NFL for the Bills, so no reason not to stop by the Koessler Athletic Center (KAC) and watch the Griffs scrimmage and select your seat (whether it’s a full or patial season ticket). The ticket window opens at Noon with the free scrimmage set to begin at 1:30 p.m. The cheerleaders and dancers will be in attendance along with C-Block, so stop by the KAC and enjoy a little bit of basketball before the “real” season gets underway next week.
The women’s home opener is November 17 at 7 p.m. vs. St. Bonaventure. The men’s home opener is November 28 at 3:15 pm vs. Howard (women host Binghamton that afternoon at 1 p.m.).
