If you are working with students who are considering a gap year, Career Development is hosting a Lunch and Learn: Explore, Serve, Grow: Gap Year Options on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at noon in Grupp Fireside Lounge.
Representatives from the Peace Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and City Year will share their personal experiences and discuss current gap year opportunities available to students.
Please note: The Career Closet will open in a few weeks, and we are in dire need of career-focused professional attire. Please consider checking the back of your closets for interview-appropriate or business casual clothing that you may be willing to donate.

We are collecting clothing along with accessories including shoes, ties, scarves and jewelry. Drop off your donations in Career Development, 014 Horan O’Donnell. This year’s Griff Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in the Science Hall Commons from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
We have made every attempt to bring a diverse group of employers based on our majors. Career Fairs are a relatively painless way for students to connect with employers who will have careers, internships, and summer opportunities. Thanks to our faculty and staff, students are well-prepared to take the next step in their careers. Our students are dedicated to their educational pursuits and have had exposure to research and experiential opportunities.
To continue offering these events for our students, recruiters must feel their time on campus is well spent. We are offering all sorts of prizes for students and are marketing the fair heavily but nothing compares to having faculty and staff support.
To this end, the registered employers are sponsoring a faculty and staff incentive. The faculty or staff member who refers the most students to the fair will win a $200.00 certificate to Angeline’s restaurant on Delaware Avenue. When students sign in to the fair, we will ask who encouraged them to attend. Let the referring begin!
