Another Alumni Weekend is in the books and what an amazing weekend it was! Thank you to all the faculty and staff who volunteered at and attended the various events to make the weekend such a special opportunity for alumni to reconnect, reminisce and re-imagine Canisius. (Pictured below): The “Celebrating Canisius” dinner drew a full house during Alumni Weekend. The event included remarks from President Steve Stoute, several testimonials from students about the value of their Canisius education, as well as the official unveiling of the new Canisius University logo.
Alumni Weekend concluded on Sunday with Mass in Christ the King Chapel, followed by an honorary breakfast for Canisius’ longtime fundraiser and friend-rasier, J. Patrick Greenwald (pictured below). The institution’s principal gift officer retired after 46 years of service to all things blue and gold. For those who know Patrick well, however, we know this is not ‘goodbye’ but simply ‘see you later.’
