The Human Resources Department is pleased to announce that Patricia Creahan is the Canisius College Employee of Distinction for March 2022. Pat currently works as the director of the Student Health Center and has worked in this role for more than 30 years. Pat was nominated for this award by Eileen Niland, who shared the following:
“As we approach the 2nd anniversary of the start of the Pandemic, it’s certainly time to recognize the service Patricia Creahan has given to the Canisius community throughout the Pandemic. Pat continues to commit herself fully to the safety and well-being of our community. Pat keeps us abreast of recommendations and best practices while working tirelessly, to monitor, test and treat our students. She works collaboratively with the Recovery Task Force to guide the campus response to the Pandemic. Pat Creahan’s determination and tenacity are beyond reproach. She leads and manages the Office of Student Health with compassion, commitment and integrity. Pat Creahan exemplifies “The Magis” in her approach to serving the Canisius community. We are so lucky to have a health professional of her caliber here at Canisius!”
