The campus community is cordially invited to attend Canisius College Academic Talent Search annual Black History Month Program on Thursday February 27, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. This event will be held at Zion Dominion Global Ministries located at 895 North Forest Road, Amherst, N.Y. 14221.

The theme this year is: “You Can… With Intellect and Heart.”

We have planned an exciting program for our students and their families. The focus of the program this year will be to highlight cultural, economic, and educational and health issues critical to the students we serve, their families, and communities in which they live.

There will be workshops and informational stations from various organizations consisting of educational opportunities, career choices, financial literacy, mental health and wellness, voter registration and cultural topics.

We will feature as keynote speaker, Jeremy Anderson, a leading educational expert, author of six books and motivational speaker in the educational arena.

This is a time when students can gain valuable information from professionals, businesses and community leaders as well as showcase their talents. We acknowledge your busy schedule but sincerely hope you will attend this event.
