Join the Women’s Business Center at Canisius College for an interactive session on Thursday, November 14 from 9 – 10:00 a.m. in Science Hall 063 to learn how to self-certify as a women-owned small business (WOSB) and economically disadvantaged women-owned small business (EDWOSB) with the federal government.
The federal government’s goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned businesses each year. To help provide a level playing field for women business owners, the government limits competition to businesses that participate in the women’s contracting program with a WOSB certification.
