In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Counseling Center and Step Up Griffs Peer Educators are bringing the Clothesline Project to campus. The Clothesline Project is a powerful visual display of t-shirts decorated by survivors and loved ones of sexual and domestic violence.
Inspired by the AIDS quilt, visual artist Rachel Carey-Harper launched the Clothesline Project in 1990, using the concept of t-shirts hanging on a clothesline as a way to raise awareness and to provide support to those affected by violence. T-shirts will be on display throughout our main campus and on the first floor of the library, October 21-25.

On Tuesday, October 22, the Griff Center Career Development team will host an information session with Rich Products, in the Student Center Conference Room.
Kelly Reimann, a recruiter from Rich’s, will be on hand to share information about the company’s Manager-in-Training Program, as well as internships and other positions available.
This is a great opportunity for students to network with Rich’s and get in touch for future positions. Please encourage interested students to register via Handshake to reserve their spot.
