Lights, Camera, Action!

On Wednesday, July 12, Lyons Hall Parking Lots 1 (Admissions Lot) and 3 (lot behind Lyons Hall) will be closed to accommodate filming of the movie “Coldbrook.”  The front entrance to and first floor of Lyons Hall will also be closed to foot traffic on Wednesday.  Please use the back door to enter the building.

The set will be closed during filming, but we hope to take photos to share in The Dome and on social media.

williamfichtner__140501011113Buffalo native William Fichtner will make his directorial debut and star in the movie. “Cold Brook” also stars Kim Coates (“Sons of Anarchy”) and Brad Kenke (“Orange is the New Black”), and tells the story of two small-town men who embark on a big-time adventure and, ultimately, do the right thing.  The movie is set on a college campus. Canisius is one of several local locations being used as a backdrop for the film.

Lyons Hall Lots will reopen on Thursday, July 13.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
